The bios situation is weird. So there are several things going on and right now not all boards are created equal. 1.0.0.3ABB (not AB or AAB or any of the other variants) generally is performing well in terms of heat production vs performance, though not everyone is seeing boost clocks as high as they were seeing on 1.0.0.2. It varies quite a bit, though, cpu to cpu.
This uefi DOES also fix linux, though. So this video has been waiting in the wings for a bit, for that update to go gold.
